This is the Spectrum +2 page. My
Spectrum came from a junk shop and was stacked underneath a load of old garden
furniture. I didn't see it at first as I was more intent on trying to get an
Amstrad PCW out for the disk drives, then this fell to the floor. I couldn't
just leave it there could I :-) It was the next model to come along after the
Spectrum 128, and it was also the first model to be released by Amstrad. It
contains an inbuilt Cassette recorder and is fully compatible with the
Spectrum 16K, 48K, 128K, and it you ask me looks very similar to Amstrad CPC
464 (coincidence?) Due to the inbuilt tape the tape loading errors were
greatly reduced which was a nice touch!
