Amstrad NC100

NC 100

Well, here we have another addition to my collection. This machine came from e-bay and cost me £12.00 plus potage and packaging (which I am sure they charge too much on!!). I thought the £12.00 wasn't that bad, but then again that is probably just me.

Anyway, the NC100 is a notebook pc that includes a word processor, diary and time functions, calculator etc etc. It is a very neat little thing and I am very pleased with it. It has a standard printer port and serial port, and so it is compatible with most printers. I think I have heard rumors of modems being connected to the serial port, but I am unsure if this is true. I think that the reason for the serial port is to enable the notebook to be connected to a PC for transferring files. The next thing I have to do is to work out HOW to actually do this?
